Who we are

The Bow Locks is a family-run locksmith business based at E16 4RF, London, providing domestic and commercial locksmith services across London. You can contact us on 07546 247 247 or at thebowlocks@outlook.com.

What information we collect

We collect only the information needed to quote for and carry out locksmith work: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the address or postcode of the property, and the details you tell us about the job.

If you contact us by phone, we may keep a short record of the call details for scheduling, invoicing and warranty purposes.

How we use your information

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, give you a price, attend the property, complete the work, take payment and honour the 3-year warranty on the work and locks we fit.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.

Lawful basis

We process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract when you instruct us to carry out work. Where we keep records for invoicing and warranty claims, we do so to meet our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in running the business properly.

Who we share it with

Where you have instructed us through a letting agent, property maintenance company or managing agent, we share job details with that instructing party so the visit can be authorised and recorded.

We may also share information with our payment providers and accountants where required to process payment and keep proper financial records.

How long we keep it

We keep job and invoice records for as long as needed to service the 3-year warranty and to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. After that, records are securely deleted or destroyed.

Security

Access to your details is limited to the members of our team who need them to quote for, carry out or invoice the work. All of our locksmiths are DBS-checked.

Cookies and this website

This website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function. Pages that embed Google Maps may set cookies controlled by Google when the map loads.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and to object to how we use it.
